How to Measure Your Helmet Size Correctly: To find the right helmet size, measure your head circumference with a flexible measuring tape.
It is important that the measuring tape runs at the widest point of the head – only then will you get an accurate result.
Place the measuring tape about 1–2 cm above the eyebrows at the front and run it along the sides above the ears.
At the back, the measuring tape should run over the largest point at the back of the head (not too deep in the neck). The tape may run slightly diagonally – what matters is that it fits snugly around the largest circumference points of the head.
Make sure the measuring tape is snug but not cutting in. It’s best to measure 2–3 times to get the most accurate result. You can then compare the measured value in centimeters (cm) with our size chart.
Tips for an Accurate Result
- Lay hair flat (e.g., do not measure with a voluminous hairstyle)
- Run the measuring tape horizontally or along the largest circumference
- Do not measure too loosely
- For values between two sizes:
→ usually choose the larger size (depending on helmet model/fit)

Protection to the current standard
The X.R5R is approved to ECE 22.06, the current European helmet standard. The X-PRO Carbon shell spreads the energy of an impact over a large area onto the inner shell beneath. Four shell sizes ensure there is not unnecessarily much filler material between your head and the carbon.

Clear view, closed visor
You change the Recoil visor without tools. The X-Race lock reliably keeps it shut at high speed, and three intermediate positions let you open a crack when stationary. A Pinlock 200 XLT MaxVision is included, and pins for tear-offs are prepared.

Design: Zero Pro in Gold Matt
Under the matt paint the carbon weave looks soft, almost like brushed graphite. On the lower flank the ZERO lettering runs in grey, and the Nexx logo is printed in white. The accents come from a pale champagne gold: in the manufacturer's photo the visor and spoiler wing shimmer warmly, more like a titanium coating than a loud yellow. Among the Zero Pro colours this is the most elegant variant – eye-catching, but never loud. A head-turner with gold wheels or a suit with gold details.
