The K-Tech 20IDS Open Cartridge Kit for the Yamaha YZF-R3 (2019–2026) uses the advanced 20 mm Independent Damping System (20IDS), which was specifically developed for the original fork. This cartridge system offers flexible suspension adjustment through independently adjustable damping for rebound and compression as well as spring preload, allowing the Suspension to be optimally tailored to the rider’s preferences and the current track conditions.
With 30 clicks of independent compression adjustment and 30 clicks of independent rebound adjustment, the kit enables extremely precise chassis setup. It offers increased travel compared with the original cartridge and is made from high-quality aircraft-grade aluminum, with hard-anodized and “super finished” components for exceptionally durable and reliable performance. The kit also includes a wide selection of springs, which must be ordered separately.
